Solar Spark Lamp tracks home energy use

From Beverly Ng comes an energy tracking gadget that is easy to understand which fits into your regular home decor. The Solar Spark Lamp provides a colored-glow and wi-fi connected information to your computer regarding your home energy usage for the month. In response to Sweden's requirement of residents to track their energy consumption the lamp tells you whether you are in the green, yellow or red zone for the month. During the day the lamp is solar charged by tipping it upside down and placing it in a sunny spot. Then, come evening, place the lamp right-side up and it will briefly display your color, then proceed to a white glow to be used as a regular reading lamp.
Ingenious, funky and use-friendly I think this is a great step in the right (green) direction.
