Xantrex solar inverters win "Best Quality Award" in Spain

Xantrex Technology Inc., a subsidiary of Schneider Electric, has been honored with a Best Quality Award by Elektroprofesional magazine, a publication of the REED Business Information Group in Spain.

Xantrex received the quality award for its line of solar power products ranging from off-grid to three phase solar power inverters. The winners of the “Premio de Calidad e Innovación” (Quality and Innovation Awards) were determined by an independent survey of 365 solar power system installers throughout Spain. The installers were asked which inverters they valued most in terms of innovation and quality. Xantrex inverters won in terms of quality, and ranked 4th in terms of innovation. Installers from the southern region of Andalucia and the Northeastern part of Spain were among those who voted most in favor of Xantrex. The study was conducted during March and April 2008 by an external research company.

The award was presented to Xantrex at a ceremony in Madrid, Spain on October 30, 2008.
