ALTERNATIVE POWER SOURCE

When utility power becomes unavailable, the APS automatically senses the loss of power and switches to battery backup. Users can connect as many batteries as needed to power critical equipment through extended blackouts. Backup time is virtually unlimited, dependent only upon the number of external batteriesconnected to the APS.

INCREASED AVAILABILITY

Integrated battery chargers are industrial strength and highly efficient, rapidlybringing batteries back to full capacity when AC utility power is restored. Withrecharge rates up to 10-20 times faster than a traditional UPS system, an APSprovides superior availability and reliability in areas that experience frequent andprolonged blackouts. To improve efficiency and runtime, a user-adjustable rechargerate can be configured to suit the number of batteries connected to the APS.

CONVENIENT CONNECTION

Select models include an input plug and AC output receptacles, providingmaximum connection convenience. These units can recharge their batteries from awall outlet, and equipment can be plugged directly into their receptacles. Hardwiremodels connect directly to the power grid, creating a permanent AC connection.

SAFE, CLEAN OPERATION

Unlike other emergency power supplies such as gas generators, PowerVerter APSsystems produce computer-grade power that is also ecologically sound. They run on sealed batteries, generate no dangerous fumes and produce no disruptive noise.
